Resurgence Publishing Corporation (RPC) is a non-profit corporation in the
State of Florida, founded in 2004.
The company's initial publications
are the Archive Series focused on the life and works of Joseph Wesley Mathews provided, with
permission, by members of his family and from his archives. Bending
History (Volume I) was our first publication in 2004, and work is
now underway on Volume II for late 2011.
In 2009, RPC added a new
Legacy Series of publication spearheaded by a reprinting of
Eternal Values in a World of Change, by Bishop James K. Mathews, the
the presentations, talks and workshops of the Transforming
the Legacy Symposium at Wesley Theological Seminary,
Washington D.C., honoring the inauguration of the Joseph Wesley
Mathews Archives at the Seminary and lifetime of work of his brother
Bishop James K. Mathews (see RPC Conferencing.) The two volume
series resulting from the Symposium was published in late 2010.
RPC intends to be involved in other "transformative" conferencing events in the future, and to publish those results as well.
Through the location of the Joseph
Wesley Mathews personal archives at Wesley Theological Seminary in
Washington D.C., and in collaboration with the IEI/ICS Project in
Chicago Illinois, Resurgence Publishing provides a
medium for further research and publication to be done by others
both from the JWM archives and from their own research and thinking.
The most recent contributors to the growing list of
publications are those featured as "New" on our home page.
